Panelist Guidelines
COMMON WEALTH Q&A events
After a four year journey to see COMMON WEALTH come to fruition, it’s with a lot of excitement that we invite you to participate in our planned upcoming events.
COMMON WEALTH tells the extremely personal and evolutionary story of Kane Guglielmi, from his early childhood traumas to personal challenges and curiosities as an adult.
The film was largely self-funded by Kane and his wife Nicole in attempt to retain a sense of artistic purity. The Producer asks panelists be mindful of the sensitivies of this personal story and commitment from his family.
It’s our intention to create a feel good sentiment at our screenings—to leave audiences feeling inspired and positive. With this in mind, panelists play a notable role in shaping the atmosphere of our events.
It’s the Producer’s request that this deliberate intention and theme of unity and optimism be honoured by invited panelists, and agree to:
1. On-topic conversation: we ask discussions remain focused on the themes of the film, along with questions around the production of the film itself.
2. Politics: we ask panelists reserve the temptation to make the events political. The film was produced with intentional restraint, in a politically neutral way in a bid to unify, not to alienate. We ask this sentiment be respected at our events.
3. Sharing is caring: our panelists all deserve a chance to speak, so please be mindful of others.
4. By participating at our events you consent to your name, likeness, any video/audio recordings and photography from our events to be used at the discretion of the film’s Producer Kane Guglielmi, Darkwood Entertainment Pty Ltd, Madman Entertainment and its divisions across all mediums known or to emerge, in perpetuity, for nil financial compensation.
